How to Play Sweet Bonanza

Sweet Bonanza is an online slot game released in 2019 by Pragmatic Play. It features a 6×5 grid layout without traditional paylines. Instead of paylines, the game uses a scatter pays system where wins are awarded for matching symbols appearing anywhere on the reels. Players need to land at least eight matching symbols anywhere on the screen to achieve a win.

Scatter Pays and Game Layout

The game’s layout consists of six reels and five rows. Since Sweet Bonanza uses a scatter pays mechanic, players do not have to match symbols on a specific payline. Instead, as long as there are enough matching symbols visible anywhere in the grid, the player wins. The minimum number for a winning combination ranges between eight and 12 symbols depending on the symbol type.

This pay-anywhere mechanic affects counting wins, making it different from traditional paylines-based slots. It allows more dynamic possibilities for wins as symbol positions are less restrictive.

• 6 reels and 5 rows layout
• Scatter pays system - wins with 8 or more matching symbols anywhere
• No paylines or wild symbols

Tumble Feature and Win Sequences

• Winning symbols vanish after a win
• New symbols fall in to fill gaps
• Tumbles continue until no new wins appear

Sweet Bonanza’s gameplay involves simple controls and an easier-to-follow flow than traditional slot games due to its scatter pay and tumbling features. Before spinning, you select your stake. Then, by pressing the spin button, the reels start rotating to reveal symbols.

You look for eight or more identical symbols anywhere on the grid to form a winning combination. After each win, the tumble feature activates, which can lead to additional wins within the same round. Free spins bonus rounds are triggered by landing special scatter symbols known as lollipops.

Counting Wins and Tumble Resolution

• Wins require 8 or more matching symbols anywhere
• Winning symbols vanish and are replaced through tumbles
• Tumbles continue until no new wins occur

Triggering Free Spins and Multipliers

• 4+ lollipop scatters trigger 10 free spins
• Multiplier bombs appear in free spins with 2x to 100x values
• Multipliers add together and apply to tumble chain wins
• 3+ scatters in free spins grant 5 extra spins

Sweet Bonanza is a 6-reel by 5-row tumbling slot developed by Pragmatic Play in 2019. It features a scatter pays system where winning combinations form by landing eight or more matching symbols anywhere on the grid. There are no traditional paylines or wild symbols. Wins trigger the tumble feature: winning symbols disappear and new symbols fall to potentially create additional wins within the same spin. The free spins bonus activates when four or more lollipop scatter symbols appear, awarding 10 free spins. During these spins, special multiplier symbols ranging from 2x to 100x can land and stay on screen for the duration of a tumble sequence. Their values add together and multiply the total tumble win. Landing three or more scatter symbols during free spins grants an extra 5 spins.

Pragmatic Play's sweet-themed slot is available through licensed operators on web browsers and carries an RTP of approximately 96.48%, with medium-high volatility. The in-game information button provides full rules and paytable details for players.
